Knowledge is light
At Malek Fahd Islamic School, dedication to learning is a lifelong act of worship.
Knowledge gained today becomes the actions of tomorrow.
In Islam, learning is both an act of work and worship.
When the prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) received his revelation in the cave of Mount Hira, the first word revealed to him by the angel Jabrāʾīl was iqra, or “read”.
Through this prophetic revelation, Allah (SWT) made clear that the pursuit of knowledge is a duty bestowed upon every Muslim.
At Malek Fahd Islamic School, we believe education is a lifelong journey, extending beyond our schooling years to encompass our entire lives. In this way we strive to become lifelong learners in the eyes of our lord.
