PUBLIC LECTURE
Sheikh Hamza Karamali is an educator and Islamic scholar whose work focuses on helping Muslims develop a clear, rational and intellectually grounded understanding of Islam. Through his teaching and educational work with Basira Education, he addresses important questions surrounding faith, reason and the foundations of Islamic belief, particularly in the context of contemporary secular and atheistic ideas.
This special face-to-face evening will provide parents, educators and young people aged 16 years and above with an opportunity to explore the foundations of Islamic faith through reason, reflection and thoughtful discussion.

The event will be held on Thursday, 20 August 2026, from 6:00pm–8:00pm at the MFIS Greenacre Secondary Campus School Hall and is open to parents, educators, students aged 16 years and above, and members of the wider Muslim community.
